I attended the Remembrance Service for Jonathan Minns this afternoon at St Georges church Kemp Town.
The church was full with people wishing to pay their last respects to this great man who enriched so many lives. Jonathan’s son read a very amusing yet moving eulogy which would be well appreciated by Jonathan who had a wicked sense of humour himself.
He achieved so much in his lifetime. Apart from saving the Goldstone pumping station from certain demolition he was responsible for some 168 major projects many of them overseas. He really was the Magnus Volk of our time and will be long remembered. Certainly at The British Engineerium we will be celebrating the inventive genius of Dr Jonathan Minns for many years to come.
